Brick builds
Lego and compatible brick sets, from small single-bag builds to large display models and MOCs.
What you need
- A clean, well-lit sorting space
- Small trays or tubs for sorted parts
- A brick separator for stuck plates
- The instructions, on paper or in the maker’s app, close at hand
First project
A small, single-bag set with under 200 pieces, built step by step without skipping ahead, so you learn to read instructions and sort by step.
Common mistakes
- Opening every bag at once instead of working bag by bag
- Forcing a part that will not seat, which usually means an earlier step was built wrong
- Losing small 1x1 parts by not sorting as you go
