Whatever you build with, the job is the same: open the box, prep the parts, build it, finish it well. Pick a type below for what you need, a first project and the mistakes to avoid.
Plastic kits
Aircraft, armour, cars, ships and sci-fi kits moulded in plastic and built from a sprue.
Miniatures and wargaming
Warhammer, historical figures and board game miniatures, usually built for painting and play.
Brick builds
Lego and compatible brick sets, from small single-bag builds to large display models and MOCs.
Terrain and dioramas
Scenery and scenes for the tabletop or display case: buildings, ground work and terrain features.
Other materials
Builds in resin, metal, card, wood and 3D prints: the materials that fall outside plastic kits, minis, bricks and terrain.
